A while ago I found an amazing 1960s children’s basket chair in one of my favourite vintage shops in Penzance.
It needed quite a bit of cleaning up but other than that, it was pretty much sound. It is already well loved by Little My but it has just been missing a cushion. I had planned to make one but then I stumbled across the amazing Molly-Meg and the brilliant Lucky Boy Sunday cushions.
I was spoilt for choice on Molly-Meg’s website and was so tempted by one of Lucky Boy Sunday’s signature house-shaped ‘Favourite Place’ cushions but I knew the colours and dimensions of the ‘Bobby’ cushion would work so well on Little My’s chair.
Lucky Boy Sunday’s collection of knitted toys and home decorations are designed in Copenhagen and produced in Bolivia using 100% baby alpaca wool. They support their workers, which are based in some of the poorest areas of Bolivia, by giving them a good job and a fair price for these beautiful products.
Molly-Meg stock a lovely range of Lucky Boy Sunday products as well as many other fantastic design-led products for children. Take a good look at their website and you might even spot a familiar little person playing with her Kids on Roof MobileHome. www.molly-meg.co.uk, www.luckyboysunday.dk
