65. a walk in the woods & some other nice things

Spirit of the forest

Kids bring germs into the home. Fact. Since Saturday, I have been nursing a pretty horrendous stomach bug. It has not been a pleasant experience. However, tonight I have had my first proper meal since Saturday and what a meal it was. Vegetable tagine made with our home-grown onions and garlic, with fresh raw peas and carrots picked today at the allotment. Plus, it has stayed down, which is a real bonus!

Here are a few things I saw and liked just before I got ill and a few little nice things which happened during the dark days of vomiting (sorry).
