Not strictly brown paper packages tied up with string, but brown and white paper Jiffy bags with fancy sticky tape, didn’t quite have the same ring. However, ordering something online which arrives at lightening speed and is beautiful packaged too, is indeed one of my favourite things.
I made two purchases at the beginning of this week – a birthday present for one of Little My’s little friends and the other purchase was for me, huzzah! The birthday present came in the form of the beautiful Ava’s Tea Party Lunch Box and a card from Belle & Boo. The products themselves are so pretty but I also loved the care and attention of the packaging too, especially the lovely free stickers. Unfortunately, Little My swiped the stickers after she went mad when I told her the lunch box wasn’t for her. Jeez.
The second parcel of the week was from illustrator Anke Weckmann’s Etsy shop. Anke was having a clear-out of some t-shirts she designed. I really fell for this Shoe Collection t-shirt. She originally designed/illustrated this t-shirt for Poketo which was then screen printed in a limited edition run on to a beautiful quality t-shirt. The t-shirt’s great, and so were the little finishing touches in the parcel – a beautifully decorated Jiffy bag, postcard and business cards. It’s little details like these which make me go back to the same online shops, again and again. www.belleandboo.com, www.linotte.net
